Scholarship for Talent NEST 2020 - RCoN

1. SCHOLARSHIP POLICY FOR 04 YEAR BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING PROGRAMME

TERMS OF REFERENCE

  1. Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC)
    2. The committee shall ensure the smooth & transparent award of the scholarships.
  2. Slots Allocation
    3. 03 scholarship slots are being allocated for each batch in each Semester of the BSN Programme.
  3. Eligibility Criteria
    • 90% or above marks in Semester exams.
    • If a student avails the chance of scholarship once and in the next semester, another student meets the same criteria, the student who has not availed the chance will be preferred.
  4. Financial Grant Policy
    5. Only 33% of the Tuition fee of selected students will be waved-off for next whole semester
  5. Cancellation of Scholarship
    • The Scholarship will stand canceled in case the student is found guilty of a major disciplinary offense (referred to the disciplinary standing operating procedures).
    • A student is availing of any other scholarship.
    • The Scholarship will stand canceled in case the student does not meet the attendance criteria in both theory and clinical. (Referred to the attendance policy from standing operating procedures).
    • The Scholarship will stand canceled in case the student is found involved in any political activity.

2. National Endowment Scholarships for Talent (NEST)

M/O Federal Education & Professional Training has awarded- 04 scholarship slots under the Nursing Scholarship Program to Rawal College of Nursing, Islamabad for this FY 2021 & 10 scholarship slots for FY 2020. The slots are only available for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree Program.

The scholarship comprises the Admission fee, Tuition Fee, and lodging for students who are availing hostel facility.

3. SPONSORSHIP/ ASSISTANTSHIP

Employees working at the RIHS for the last 3 years, may apply for RIHS sponsorship for the Post RN BScN Degree program through the human resource department. These candidates will not pay tuition fee & in return they have to sign 02-years' service agreement/bond with RIHS after completion of 02 years degree program.
