The Department of Biochemistry at Rawal College of Nursing follows the curriculum developed by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan & Pakistan Nursing Council that focuses on basics of modern Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. The department is concerned with educating nursing students at the molecular level, encompassing both structural and functional mechanisms working in the human body, properties and metabolism of biomolecules as well as the formation and transmission of genetic information.

As basic science knowledge is integral to all healthcare fields, the department focus to meet the need of building integral knowledge of the students in all related domains.

We have well-equipped Biochemistry laboratory with latest & modern apparatus & instruments to benefit our students maximally in experimentation.
